按庄腳搬去都市
按南部搬去北部
平時考題目khah簡單
攏是選擇題

按這个國家搬去
彼个國家
按別个國家
搬轉來家己ê
祖國
這是期中考
題目是khah難ê
是非題

期末考
最後一遍ê搬厝
攏無選擇題
嘛無是非題
一條一條攏是開放式ê
問答題

你是m̄是會tàng
一一放棄
不再貪戀成績
予家己得著一粒圓圓圓
歡歡喜喜
完滿ê鴨卵

Relocation

Every relocation is
Taking a quiz.
Moving from one county
To another county;
Moving from the suburbs,
To the cities.
Quiz questions are easy,
All of them multiple-choice.

Moving from this country
To that country.
Moving from a foreign country
Back to our own
Homeland.
This is a mid-term exam,
The questions are harder
True/False questions.

Final exam
The last relocation
There are no multiple choice,
And no true/false questions.
One after another are open-ended
Essay questions.

Will you
Give up one by one
No longer hungering for grades
Earning yourself a very round,
Happily, contently,
Perfectly round duck egg.
