她對每一面都虔誠合十喃喃地許了願
然後笑著對他搖頭，說天機不可洩漏

但他從她的表情及時間的長短
猜得出她許了四個大小不同的願

他不免暗暗得意
相信自己單純卻面面俱到的無聲禱告
將是四倍的靈驗——

願她永遠幸福

she smiled at him shaking her head
secrets of heaven are not to be revealed

but he can tell from the duration and her facial expression
she has made four different wishes

secretly he feels complacent
knowing the silent prayers he made on all sides
would have a fourfold chance of being fulfilled --
